Rafael Hormigo Yagüe

He holds a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. He join by opposition in the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Spain, where is assigned to Finance Delegations of Barcelona and Madrid, Management Department and Liquidation of Taxes. In 1992, he founds with Amador Schüller Moreno the Law Firm Schüller, Hormigo and Associates.

He is a member of the Spanish Association of Lawyers specialized in Tax Law, and Spain Association of COMPLIANCE Cumplen. Holds a Master’s Degree in Foreign Trade from the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and ICEX, as well as a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Law and Urban Planning at the Francisco de Vitoria. He is also PhD student at UNED.

His office has been providing services at national and international level, USA (New York, Las Vegas, Miami), Cuba, Great Britain, Italy, Holland, Ireland, Dominican Republic, Portugal, Liechtenstein and Peru among others. He has also been Secretary of the Board and Legal Advisor of several business groups.

Rafael is expert on international trade and foreign investment. Since 2007 he is also specialized advisor in foreign investment in Cuba. As member of the Spanish society Consultores de Proyectos de Comercio Exterior, SL “COPREX “) has organized and participated with its own stand in the main trade fairs of Cuba, such as the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV), the Construction Fair (FECONS), Gourmet Fair of Varadero, HOSTELCUBA, etc.

Throughout the 10 years working in Cuba, Rafael Hormigo has participated in operations in several sectors in Cuba.
