Joaquín Cámbara Tarancón
LAWYER
He is a lawyer and expert in Commercial and International Law, Tax and Tax Law of Cuba. He made postgraduate studies at the School of Public Hacienda, Institute of Tax Studies (IEF) in Madrid, Spain 1995. Master in Public Law at the University of Valencia as well as master in Spanish Law at the University of Alcala, Spain. He has participated in several internships and events specialized in Tax and Commercial Law, carried out in Cuba, Spain, France, Italy, Canada , Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Panama.
Currently, he works as Partner-Director of Legal Services at CE Consulting CUBA. He is performing as a business consultant in projects for investment, businesses and implantation in Cuba, as well as tax expert. He is also an advisor to Cuban companies established in Spain and has brought the legal representation of several Spanish companies in negotiations and legal processes in Cuba.
His career as a lawyer and jurist in Cuba has covered the National Office of Tax of Cuba, the International Law Firm of Havana, the Court of International Arbitration, and the Sol-Melia Group. In Spain, CE Business Consulting and CE Consulting Lawyers (2005 – 2015).
He has also served as Assistant Professor of Financial Law at the Law Faculty, University of Havana, from 1998 to 2005.
